The five weight classes in which fights will be contested in at the Matchroom vs Queensberry boxing supercard this summer have been revealed.
After years of speculation the respective heads of Britain’s biggest boxing promotions, Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren, have agreed to each put five fighters up to go head-to-head.
The event is scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia on June 1, and Warren told Mail Sport in January that he would be willing to make a £1million bet with Hearn that his stable will ultimately emerge victorious on the night.
To determine the fights set to be featured on the showdown, the two heads agreed to each select two weight classes.
Saudi advisor and boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh then selected the division for the fifth and final fight, which could prove to be the deciding bout.

Warren told Mail Sport in January he would be willing to bet Hearn £1m that his fighters emerge victorious over the five fight card
Warren opted for heavyweight and middleweight, while Hearn chose light heavyweight and featherweight.
Alalshikh then also chose heavyweight to round out the five-fight card.
In a clip posted on social media where he announced his selections, Warren explained that he has selected heavyweight as he currently has the best heavyweight in the world, lineal champion Tyson Fury.
However, the 72-year-old dampened hopes that the long-awaited clash between the Gypsy King and Anthony Joshua could finally take place on the card.
‘The weight heavyweight division. I feel very strong, Queensberry’s very very strong in the heavyweight division there’s no doubt about that,’ he said.
‘I just feel that we’ve got the best heavyweight in the world, the lineal heavyweight champion. It won’t be him [laughs].’
Meanwhile Hearn insisted that with the likes of WBA champion Raymond Ford and former IBF champion Josh Warrington on his roster that featherweight makes perfect sense for Matchroom.
‘I’m going with the smaller boys,’ Hearn said. ‘I’m going with the featherweight division.
‘We have a number of champions at in the featherweight division and have done historically for the last few years. Like Frank I feel like we’re very very strong at 126lbs and are confident that that is going to be one on the scoreboard for Matchroom.’
