Tyson Fury’s boxing match with MMA star Francis Ngannou includes a rematch clause, according to a report.
The two heavyweights will go head-to-head in Saudi Arabia on October 28 after months of negotiations and Fury will put his unbeaten record on the line once again.
The world champion denied last week that there was a rematch clause in place, but Boxing News 24 have revealed that there is indeed a clause included in the contract.
Though the ‘Gypsy King’ is the heavy favourite to win the fight, he hasn’t fought in nine months and is facing one of the strongest punchers in the combat game, meaning the risk of him losing is there.
It appears the fighter himself is being cautious of that too, with the rematch clause giving him the chance to right a potential wrong if things don’t go to plan next month.

In what will be a ten round contest under the official rules of professional boxing, most fans and pundits believe Fury’s skill, range and understanding of distance will be too tough for the inexperienced Ngannou to overcome.
The two have already faced off in their first press conference and went head-to-head on the mic in a bid to win the fans over.
The announcement of the fight was met with criticism, with many boxing fans wanting to see Fury take on either Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk.

While negotiations had been held over potential bouts against both opponents, it doesn’t appear that either will be made, with Usyk recently knocking out Daniel Dubois and Joshua beating Robert Helenius in August.
Though both men are looking for new opponents, it appears Fury has no interest in taking on either man, though it has regularly been claimed by his promoter, Frank Warren, that a suitable offer has never been made.
It has been reported that Fury could be stripped of his WBC world title if he continues to delay any more defences, with fights against Joshua and former rival Deontay Wilder still being disucssed, according to the Daily Star.
The 35-year-old has already defended the WBC belt on three occasions since taking it from Wilder in 2020, with the most recent challenge from Derek Chisora seen off late last year.
