Dillon Danis has said he pocketed more than $1million for his loss to Logan Paul – despite previously agreeing to hand over his entire purse if he was defeated.

Danis hardly laid a finger on Paul during the fight, and eventually lost via disqualification after he tried to tackle Paul in the sixth and final round.

And yet, Danis said on Piers Morgan Uncensored that he took home a hefty payday from the bout.

Morgan reminded the jiu-jitsu star that he had agreed to forfeit all of his money from the fight if he lost.

But Danis claimed that the pair ‘never shook hands’ before Morgan brought out a giant fake check payable to Paul.

Danis has previously claimed he charges $15,000 (£12,350) per sponsored Instagram story and is living almost entirely off his social media stardom.

‘I’m rich now buddy,’ Danis told Ariel Helwani during a recent appearance on the MMA Hour.

‘I don’t understand why no one understands how I make money when my Instagram account is so popular. I get paid $15k a story, like more than that for a story and tweet.’

In the DAZN video capturing the bet between Danis and Paul, the latter agreed for his opponent to be his best man at his wedding if he lost.

Paul is engaged to Nina Agdal, who Danis routinely harassed in the buildup to the fight.

After months of Danis posting photos and videos of Agdal on social media, she actually got a temporary restraining order against him.

According to court documents, Agdal also sued Dabus for ‘revenge porn’ after the 30-year-old allegedly posted a ‘sexually explicit photograph’ of her that was taken without her consent, per the complaint.

Nonetheless, she was surely happy to see her partner defeat him in Manchester last weekend.
