KSI suffered the first defeat of his career against Tommy Fury on the weekend, but felt as though he had been robbed by the judges at the AO Arena in Manchester.

Fury was deducted a point in the second round for hitting KSI on the back of the head but he still managed to win via unanimous decision.

KSI feels hard done by – considering Tyson Fury’s younger brother landed just 12 jabs throughout the fight – and called for a rematch with the former Love Island star.

As a result, Mail Sport have taken a look at who the top three contenders are for KSI’s next fight.

Jake Paul

KSI vs Jake is certainly the fight the fans want to see and the Problem Child has hinted it could take place sooner rather than later.

Jake took to social media shortly after KSI’s defeat to Fury to state he is looking forward to ‘decapitating’ the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

Jake said: ‘This kid’s [KSI] ego is out of control, kicking the screens, crying, stuttering, asking for an appeal. This guy is 30 years old.’

The Problem Child added: ‘Take it like a man, don’t be a sore loser, you lost. Tommy had a point deducted and you still lost.

‘I still want to decapitate KSI. We have to finish what we started, and the Tommy Fury rematch is right there. Tommy’s going to want that payday.’

KSI and Jake’s rivalry goes way back as they are both high-profile content creators that have been battling it out to dominate the mainstream media landscape.

KSI first called Jake out in 2018 after beating Joe Weller in his first fight. However, Jake turned the opportunity down and encouraged his brother Logan to step in.

However, Jake did agree to fight KSI’s brother Deji in a white collar bout on the undercard of KSI vs Paul, which he won.

Both KSI and Jake have gone on to face other opponents over the years. But, they’ve still been linked together.

Fans are hoping now is the time they get to see KSI vs Jake Paul. However, Mams Taylor says Paul is reluctant to face his fellow YouTuber as he’s got a lot more to lose.

Speaking ahead of KSI’s bout with Fury, Taylor said: ‘The guy doesn’t want to fight him. Honest to God, yeah, I believe that he didn’t know what he wants and he’s conflicted.

‘There are times where Jake really believes he wants to fight KSI, and he’s like, ‘Screw this, let’s put this to bed and let’s do this.’ I believe he thinks that.

‘Then other things get in the way or maybe because Jake doesn’t have as many things going on as KSI — who’s got PRIME and Misfits Boxing and a whole host of other things — if Jake fights KSI and loses to KSI, that’s it for him.

‘It’s done. Where does he go from there? He’s going to have to start playing volleyball or darts or something. I think he’s got a lot more to lose in that sense. So maybe he was hesitant for that reason.’

Tommy Fury

KSI is adamant he was ‘robbed’ against Fury on the weekend. Therefore, it comes as no surprise he is calling for a rematch.

Speaking immediately after the fight, KSI said: ‘I understand the Fury name. I won it. It’s outrageous. Minus a point as well. I landed the cleanest shots. He couldn’t get any jabs off.’

KSI went on to add: ‘I was bang on the money. How!? Double jabs on. I don’t know what he did. Fury landed 12 punches the whole fight and he won it? ‘I f***ing hate losing man.’

The YouTuber-turned-boxer was adamant he would appeal the decision and insisted he won the first three rounds before mocking Fury over the fact he couldn’t win via knockout.

Fury beat KSI in their highly anticipated bout at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday

‘I’m the YouTuber, you’re the boxer. You have to win. I understand,’ KSI told Fury in the ring. He is meant to be a pro boxer and he won by a majority decision [rather than a knock out].

‘The amount of times he hit me in the back of the head. So many times. He was just grabbing me. I’m sorry, it’s outrageous. We’re going to appeal. I want to appeal. I need to see it again. I felt like I won that’.

Statistics from the fight revealed that Fury had thrown 159 punches across the six rounds, compared to KSI’s 124. Fury also connected with 39 of his punches, one more than his rival.

Conor McGregor

Despite KSI losing, Conor McGregor still wants to face KSI, and made his intentions clear on X. He took to the social media platform to see a bout between him and the YouTuber would be ‘exciting’.

The Notorious wrote: ‘Ya know what. Me and KSI is an exciting fight. A juicy nixer I used to call them back when I was a plumber now I’m on the lambo yacht he’s in a Huracan.’

It is not the first time McGregor has called out KSI, as he also aimed a verbal attack towards him when the pair were at ringside for Anthony Joshua’s victory over Robert Helenius in August.

However, McGregor did retract his statement shortly after the event at the O2. He told the Mirror: ‘Ah he was there, it was just a bit of craic. I’m not interested.’ So, it remains to be seen if he is really interested.

KSI also faces still competition from Fury when it comes to securing a bout with McGregor. The brother of Tyson Fury told reporters he would be ‘happy to share the ring’ with the Notorious after Saturday night’s fight.

‘Definitely. I like Conor, I’m not going to slag him off but if Conor wants it next, I’ll happily share the ring with him. I’d like to share the ring with him,’ TNT said.

‘I know he was calling out KSI but I’ve beaten him now so if McGregor wants it, I’d love to get in the ring with him.’
